If you don't mind telling me where you've gotten that bargain, I'd be glad to know. Everywhere I'm looking it's above 500€ for the Professional version, which is a bit more than I would want to spend right now. Do tell! Cheers!

On ... eBay.fr. Might be some licenses left, but I cannot check from work as the site is black-listed here.

There's only one Reply link available when you're reading a posting. I think the Y2K1D3 bug has struck.

Underestimate what I am doing home with my computer, you shall not, young Padawan. I have 2007 at work as well, and am the PPT-type-of-guy, and actually happy with it.

You should upgrade to 2003. You'll never regret it.

Same here, I'll have to wait until I'm home. Thanks anyway for your hint! :-D Cheers!

And therein lies the tale. For professional or power use, it's turned to garbage. The optimal version is still 2003; everything since is comparatively useless.

That's what I still use at home. Stuck with 2010 or something at work. X| Can't find anything.

Yes I code for Windows boxes but I use them too! I just spent an incredible waste of time putting together a PowerPoint® presentation and I can't understand what the motive was for taking something that basically worked pretty well and had a friendly interface ( read that almost intuitive ) and muck it up to the point where it is just about useless not to mention annoying! Maybe if I had never used a previous version I’d think it was great…or maybe not! What ever happend to "Don't fix it if it isn't broke!"?

Yes, the new interface may be fine for they who haven't been using it for thirty years, horrible for we old dogs. Both interfaces should be available and let the user decide which works best for them.

How on Earth did this get attached to the wrong thread? Did a rung fall off the hamster wheel?

That of course won't generate new sales.
