Hey! I'm currently using those small in ear headphones. I want bigger headphones, some that say "I'm NOT available". They have to be quite for others though, co-workers should not be offended by my music. recommendations?

I use these Sony MDRZX300B headphones[^]. They are cheap and have a good range and let people know that I am concentrating on work.

I use Sennheiser HD58's: they're are quite old now, but the sound is still excellent, although the leads are a little fragile and always have been. They are easy to change though and pretty easy to get hold of.

Sennheiser 205 over here. (but to warn you: they still don't have enough "don't bother me" to it)

They are good enough for me as I have a hearing problem too.

Yeah, those are pretty often used. But I read @ amazon that they cause noise pollution to the others - fine for subwaym not so fine for office. I think I'm going to try some AKG518, those are rated to be quite for others too and have a good sound like the Sony too.

If I understand this correctly: You'll have to find some headphones that are quite quiet, or either quit the not quite so quiet ones? ;P

One of the Beyerdynamics, I got the DT990 Pro (although it has some sub models with various ohms and different levels of performance which is a bit confusing). Very good value for money.

If you get a big cardboard box -- from a fridge, or something -- you should be able to squeeze in there with a laptop. And you might get lucky, and be mistaken for a delivery to Tahiti.
