Hi, I realise I am very likely taking the bait here, and I won't respond to another message like this, but as is mentioned above, the old CP logo has bene stolen. Also, here's a quote from CodeProject's About Us section, which was written at least two years ago: >>> The Code Project was formed to provide developers with a place to meet and exchange ideas. We hope to provide developers with all the resources they need to help them in their day to day programming, as well as helping them keep up to date with the latest technologies. <<< Now, in the About Us section of Code Universe: >>> Code Universe was created to provide developers with a place to meet and exchange ideas. Our mission is to provide developers with all the resources they need to help them in their day to day programming, and helping them keep up to date with the latest technologies. <<< Further, the News section of Code Project recently had this headline: >>> Microsoft breakup ruling overturned 28 Jun 2001 Source: MSNBC 28 comments In a unanimous verdict that sent Microsoft's share price soaring, the U.S. Court of Appeals has overturned the ruling that Microsoft should be broken up, and thrown out the charge that Microsoft attempted to monopolise the browser market. <<< Code Universe's main headline now appears to be: >>> Microsoft breakup ruling overturned Antitrust case sent back to the lower court. Posted by Najmul Khawaja on July 12 2001. Source: MSNBC In a unanimous verdict that sent Microsoft's share price soaring, the U.S. Court of Appeals has overturned the ruling that Microsoft should be broken up, and thrown out the charge that Microsoft attempted to monopolise the browser market. The case has been sent back to the lower court to decide the penalty. <<< Once again, I apologise to anyone if maybe I shouldn't have posted this, but I feel angered that the hard work of so many people who put much effort into the Code Project get their work ripped off, and worse, patronised by postings in the Lounge suggesting the CodeProject visitors should visit the Code Universe website. > Andrew.

I think this is the same 2-bit operation that tried the same thing a couple months ago and got flamed to near-death. Then some guy who said he was CEO of CodeUniverse got on here and claimed that "any similarities between CodeUniverse and Code Project were purely by coincidence." Right... The least they could have done would be to pay for advertising space, like a legitimate business would do. Jon Sagara "Go Banana!" -- Ralph Wiggum

Not only did they copy the CP logo but you would think they would at least change the orange color theme of their web site. No creative element there.

C'mon, Sarah. You told us this already, to quote:

But you came across it TODAY ? Garbage. Stop spamming us, please. We're all smart enough to come up with cunning methods of revenge, and a few ( such as me ) are antisocial and grumpy as well. This is a dangerous conbination to mess with ( although I admit I'm not that smart ). :) All joking aside, this is spam and unless you are not Sarah Harris you are lying. I find it coincidental that the two people who choose to rave about a site that clearly has stolen from here would have the same name. Christian #include "std_disclaimer.h" People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either one being made. Correct me if I am wrong but it is a British saying. Basically calling something "pants" means it is rubbish or crap. In fact pseudodictionary.com has a definition of it: pants When I was over in London a couple mates down at the pub said to this one bloke "Oi, you'r pants at football". Often used in conjunction with "taking the piss". Got to love those brits huh? regards, Paul Watson Cape Town, South Africa e: paulmwatson@email.com w: vergen.org

The only woman I know that talks like this is my ex-wife, and she has an excuse - she's fat and ugly and has no other recourse to gather attention than to cuss like a sailor.
