For those of you that have a significant other, a better half, or whatever term of endearment you have ... ... I am curious to what kind of gift/present/whatever you are getting them for Valentine's Day.

Embarassing as hell but I got her a framed 8x10 print of one of my photos that she liked (this one[^].) :-O Also dinner out, flowers of course (but daisies, she is not a rose fan), a movie and errr stuff that belongs in the Soapbox. Valentines falls on a Friday and she goes to Varsity, so it is tough doing a whole day thing. p.s. Great flag in your sig! Nice to see where people are from.

Nice touch, I am going the flowers route with my wife too ... with a small twist though. Some white carnations colored light blue with a mix of pink roses. We are expecting twins and I am hoping for the best of both worlds :-D

I think I speak on behalf of nearly all male north americans over the age of 22 when I say I hate that valentines day CRAP but we're all roped into it aren't we? We're going down to the docks to see if we can find anyone selling a fresh Spring Salmon (aka king salmon to any U.S. people) which I will cook into a great dinner with Rissoto and roasted plum tomatoes with green beans and champagne.

Probably cost more to post the print to you than it would to print and frame it. If you seriously do want the photo then email me direct and I will send you the original file. You can then take that file to any photo lab and get it printed. I would be honoured :-D

Forget the commercialism and the exploitation that goes with it. Just use it as an opportunity to show your love for your partner....and she should do the same for you in her own way. :) Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk
