Adding a new project to a existing solution Visual Studio 2010

    Hi, I have a visual studio solution with 5 projects I am trying to add a 6th one a MFC C++ project I right click on the solution select add-> new project enter the name and location of the project OK and nothing happenss the modal dialog box juist comes back to me the location revets back to the orignasl location somewhere on the c drive but I get no prompt as that have entered errorus information or that I missing information Thanks

      Are you actually locating the project control file through the browser part of the dialog to make sure that the location is correct?

        Yes , after selecting MFC and MFC application I type in for NAME : HERC_CMD LOCATION : F:\HERC_CMD As I created I a HERC_CMD folder OK button the Dialog comes back with the location changed to c:\users................\Viaual Studio 2010\Projects Seems to me I selected all the right info dont know What why the dialog doesn't proceed to the next step

          I just tried that with Visual C++ 2010 Express, and it worked fine. Sorry, no idea why it does not work for you.
