Important client meeting today and my team members suddenly fall ill and will not be able to reach office including my project manager... I am so dead now X|

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

To me it looks like that its not their personal health but your teams health is poor - you should look deeper and try to improve things and communication...

Make sure that: -- There are plenty of beverages, choccy bikkies, and snack food, and that rooms are really ready (network & beamers attached and tested, etc.) -- You have several small-talk topics prepared. -- You know what they're looking for (the more precise the details, the better), and that you're ready to talk about those subjects, rather than the subjects you'd like to talk about. -- You have questions that will help you find out precisely what they need from you (not so much "What do you want this to do?", but more "How will you use this?" -- show an interest in what they do, and they'll give you all kind of details that will help avoid complaints, later) -- You're ready to shut up and let them talk, and never interrupt them.

I hope you got loads of action points for those who didnt attend, that way they will think twice about not attending next time

God does not care ... Just show up and be professional; do not make promises that you and your project manager would not make. If all go well, you will be in a good position when your next yearly review is done to ask for a bit more. AND DO NOT SCREW UP.

When in doubt, write a checklist.
