If you ask Nagy really, really nicely, he might be able to help you there...

Every year our family have a tradition of gathering to watch the Eurovision Song Contest. We do so not out of national pride or the thrill of competition, simply so we can get drunk and take the piss out of Johnny Foreigner and his ridiculous Style/Fashion/Language etc. (We are not racist, we take the piss out of the UK entrants too!) It is something we have done for 20 odd years. It should be at my Sister's house this year, but she has to work on this particular Saturday and and cried off and instead begged me to play host. Grudgingly I acquiesced to her request. So Beer, Cider, Wine, Spirits, Aperitifs and some grindage and commons will have to be provided for about 30 people. Cheers one and all. I shall get a pile of booze in and order in Pie and Chips from the local chippy. That should keep them happy.

Better to be safe than sorry - he'd never live it down if there was any booze left after a night of bleurghovision song listening...

That would be a definite help in hosting a evening of bleurghovision...I wouldn't want to remember any of it either.

I remember one of my early visits to a sadly now defunct local. We walked in one Saturday evening, and Eurovision was on the TV - WTF? Then the judging started - and so did the gambling - it was 20p per judging round & £1 for the overall winner. Winner takes the pot in each case, first shout first served on the countries. They no longer do this now it's a pricey Italin restaurant :( Regards, Stewart

No - he retired a couple of years ago. We now have to put up with Graham Norton

It's well known that if all the cat videos and porn disappeared from the internet there would be only one site left and it would be called whereareallthecatvideosandporn.com
