Another irritant of Visual Studio 2012
-
Visual Studio 2012 has another irritating feature that randomly some of the files are docked (right aligned) when opened. There should be a way to control/avoid this. Not sure if this portion of UAT for Visual Studio 2012 was done in KSA (http://www.microsoft.com/en-sa/default.aspx[^])?

--Brisingr AerowingActually, that is one of the better features, right-docked is the currently selected file in the file explorer. On the tab there is a button with a sparkle - click that and it docks to the left so it won't close if you select a different file. There is an "docked even further to the left" by clicking the pin in the tab - you then have an option to close all but pinned. It took me a bit of getting used to, but it is a pretty handy thing to have.

Yeah, the "preview" feature is nice.

--Brisingr AerowingDon't worry - Visual Studio 2013[^] will be out later this year. A whole new bunch of bugs to look forward to!

I can see the new tagline: "Visual Studio. Sucks faster than ever"
I was brought up to respect my elders. I don't respect many people nowadays.

Like C# project invoking VB compiler? :-D We wouldn't be surprised if M$ does that too.

--Brisingr AerowingIf Visual Studio, didn't include Blend (or there were a nice alternative available), I would never have taken that crappy offering from Microsoft Mickeysoft:mad:
