code review/analysis. bug review/analysis. browse stackoverflow/CP quick-answer. I'm trying to limit my internet usage during the day; so no other web stuff (except at lunch time).

Boosting performance? I find myself trying to read developer articles / blog, CP or have an e-book open with something related to my work and interesitng for these short periods of down time.

What I am curious to know is what people do with the time between building / testing / waiting for a page to load or IIS to recycle. Typically its between 30 seconds - 2 minutes depending on your project and configurations but what do you find yourself doing in this time? Do you sit blanky at the screen day dreaming, find some other work or thought process to briefly keep your mind occupied, read your emails or perhaps read part of an article? / other?

I code a different project and then, whilst it compiles, get back to the first. If they're both compiling I start a new project immediately. Also, I make up stories for posting in The Lounge.

Trying is right... not sure you can really read a lot in 30 seconds to 2 minutes. If I were to do that, I would find it is the end of the day, and the build or whatever completed ages ago
