    Loosely paraphrased from the original quotation?: Kill them all, God will recognize his own. --Amalric Arnaud, during the seige of Be'ziers (1209 AD), addressing soldiers who asked him how to tell the difference between the heretics and the orthodox Catholics.

    Probably. I just responded with the only version I've heard. :)

      On the subject of having courage in the face of danger, I always found this quotation from the great writer Frank Herbert to be of great value: I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total oblivion. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me and turn my inner eye to follow its path. When the fear is gone, only I will remain. --The Litany Against Fear (Frank Herbert, -Dune-, 1965) Any other suggestions from our great collection of coders?

      Cornelius Henning Failure is not an option - It is a rare privilege reserved for the few among us who have the guts to try. And: Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm. -- Publilius Syrus

        TE Lawrence, from the Film. TE: "Then you will be a theif as well as a murderer. Sharif: "Have you no fear?" TE: "Ones fears are a mans own concern" Sharif: "Truly." But yeah, nice Herbet quote. I always liked the quote "Without change the mind sleeps" fron Dune.

            :) I'm sad that you think me ill tempered and prone to violence: I'm actually quite jolly; just aggressively so!

                I hear what you say! Depends on the context of the situation. Very often silence is the easy way out. IOW the way of the coward. In most cases the advice of the Tao Te Ching applies:

                Quote:

                Confront the difficult while it is still easy;

                  Remember: It's better to remain silent and maybe appear to be stupid than to speak and remove any doubt. :D

                      I remember this: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." - Psalm 23:4 Regards, Mike
