I see that the world media is portraying the USA as having a huge melt down over the verdict in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case. Just so you know, yesterday in my home town I went for a long walk, had a Margarita on the front porch of my uncle's home, and played video games with my daughter. There was an up-ended garbage can downtown - possibly the result of some violent protest - but most likely up-ended by my neighbor, Mrs. Eire, aged 96, who has tendency to bump into things with her 1989 Oldsmobile. I didn't meet anyone who had any clue as to what was going on with that case. In short, most of America doesn't care and most of America looks on with utter amazement as cesspools like L.A. and NYC descend into violence at every opportunity. Bear in mind that these are the two locations in our country that people go to when they want to establish an acting career - over acting is what they do. So I propose we make a deal: I suggest that I won't believe the news outlets when they find Euro-scum and portray human debri as representative of some vast movement across the pond if you'd return the same courtesy. Thanks.

Wow! 96 and still driving! My grand ma, same age about, is consigned at home by doctors orders since years (lives at the 2nd floor without lift, and there is no insurance coverage if she fells down the stairs).

That's shocking. I would have thought you would have to walk no more than 100 yards before you found a black person to shoot. Obviously a lot of people had got there before you.

Personally, I do not understand the logic of: Smashing store windows, overturning cars, looting, beating people up, setting fires, etc, in order to: protest violence in society....

At least he had the decency to misspell the French word.

It is -- except that it's called football, because it involves interacting with a ball using only one's feet (hence the trampling being particularly apropos).

Thanks.
