When it's the largest with more than 15,000 employees, does that not imply largest?? Full stop ?

Yeah. Awful! Causes a nasty side-effect: Sobriety. When you drink you may at try least shooting revenuers. (Even though you will probably miss. Hard to pick the proper target when you see 3 of them). But when sober you may decide not to shoot at all! Sobriety causes cowardice! :)

I don't remember being sober when I drank it in Prague. It all went well, drinking Abstinence[^] all day, but then things get a bit blurry around 2 in the morning.

If the usual thing holds (approx 2x every 18 months) I'll be welcoming our 8086-based overlords in 6 years :~

Straight from Wikipedia. It is quite a large employer. Acutally rather surprising.

To follow up from Ravi's post below, here is a timeline. I didn't go through it all, but there is some neat stuff. And that's one fancy timeline (though I'd be more impressed if it were HTML/JavaScript).

I must be missing the play on words here.

2 AM things are always blurry for me. :^) That's the time I normally wake up to start the day.

Surprisingly, that turns out not to be the case: Does Drinking Alcohol Kill Brain Cells?[^] - it can temporarily reduce your abbility to replace them, but a period of abstenance can fix that!

Alcohol might not kill brain cells, but it sure can bugger up the information that's flowing between them.

The issue is the sentence "Intel is the[sic] Oregon's largest private employer with over 15,000 employees". As as, it implies that of all the companies with over 15,000 employees Intel is the largest. This is because the phrases are not delineated. The two phrases need to be split or reordered thus: "Intel is Oregon's largest private employer; with over 15,000 employees." or "Intel, with over 15,000 employees, is Oregon's largest private employer."
