Moving house in 1 week. Forgotten how stressful it is! Other than vast quantities of alcohol - how do you cope with stress outside work?

Not here, mate! More stressful than being a piece of elastic tied between two elephants dangling over a cliff.

Something that has to do with this week's poll: I am learning to fly model helicopters and have started with cheaply buying some unpopular models cheaply at FleaBay, repairing and improving them until they fly again. Then I get my flying training and by now even don't have to repair them again after 'landing'. Sounds like the hard way? Yes. but a heli out of the box that 'just flies' would bore me to death.

I have not yet had a crash, but sure some awkward landings. Or liftoffs, when the rotor head was not properly adjusted. By now I have learned a lot about repairing, make the proper adjustments and then carefully testing and trimming the heli :)

I had a radio controlled heli for my umtieth birthday, Took real care to practice one inch off the ground, just moving forward. Took my time, didn't rush it.,, Finally took it to about 3 feet, and it kept rising. Let go the controls - it kept rising. When it reached house height the wind took it and it sailed off over the trees. Never saw it again. Somehow I don't see flying helicopters as a stress reducer :)(

Moving? That's easy... ;) I'm going to sell my apartment and move to a house, on wednesday a photografer will come by and take photos for web sites, ads, etc. Trying to get everything to get everything as "inviting" as possible, borrow furniture from friends and finishing all the small things I had started and not finsihed... That's stressful!

Pah! That's it stress! Been through that, and e negotiation, solicitors, building and pest inspection, finding a new house, arranging removalists, phone, leccy, tv etc etc etc not to mention the finance applications! Having a few photos is just the start of the stress bit
