A job angencu doing his homework!!! what planet are you on, it has never happened and probably never will (any reports of a such an occurance are obviously planted)

My guess is he's seeing if you'll wing it, and that way he can put you forward as a candidate.

When I go fishing, I don't care about the lives and the history of the fish I catch. I merely go were I think I will find them and use whatever bait will attract the most fish. The difference is I only eat the fish whereas recruiters eat the soul.

I typically get 3-4 unsolicited emails from recruiters weekly, most of which go in the bin without a second glance. Today's one did catch my eye though: My Client is looking for a VB6 developer on a 3 month contract. The day rate for the contract is around £115 per day (absolute max!) Skills Required: o Visual Basic 6 o SQL Server 2000, 2005 o Classic ASP o Java Script o C# (desirable) o ASP.Net (desirable) o ASP.net MVC (desirable) o Java (desirable) I was tempted to reply and ask how many years ago he sent the email...

It's a good rate - assuming you have to work 3 hours a day :-)
