It has a top speed of about 1 mph. If it hits a human it will like stop. If it hits a human, it was probably the human not paying attention and deserved to be hit! :)

Why do you feel it is a waste of time? It was a waste of time posting your comment.... And least they learned something in the process and produced something tangible to test their engineering capabilities. :)

Not to mention this thing is spreading like wildfire all over the Internet. They are getting a lot of attention and you never know where that can lead. Not a waste of time at all. Soren Madsen

A car, nearly completely made of Lego (needed some support) [^] In the vid, you can see the individual cylinders providing propulsion...very neat

Amazing! But...he's lucky he doesn't live in Britain. He'd be done for: 1) No seat belt 2) No road tax 3) No MOT (or certificate of roadworthiness from the DVLA) 4) No number plate 5) Probably no insurance...

It will be road tax exempt - 0% CO emissions.

It'd need a IVA[^], but as it's 'new' there'd be no requirement for an MOT.

Not to mention it's some impressive engineering to get it to run on compressed air!

Lego parts everywhere on the street. Suddenly being a bodyman becomes a much more time-consuming job.

Sorry, seen that too, afterwards. Still, the amount of work that went into that is amazing, never mind the idea that it actually worked/stayed together. I would guess that there is more than a bit of epoxy holding stuff together. Ken
