    Well i was working on a User Input Dialogue and nearly finished it after 2 hours of trying and designing it in visual Studio when suddenly the doubleclick on this form happend and i intuitively clicked on undo... Yep i didn't save anything in that time and undoing designerchanges is permanently :~ 2 hours of work done to it again X|

    if(this.signature != "") { MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature); } else { MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found"); }

    One of the features that I love about XCode is that your changes are automatically saved for you. Though I have to admit that muscle memory still clicks in at times to do a save. :)

    you want something inspirational??

      I'm curious: do you use the Tools/Options/Environment/Auto-Recover options ? Ever look in \…\My Documents\Visual Studio 20##\Backup Files\

      “But I don't want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked. “Oh, you can't help that,” said the Cat: “we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.” “How do you know I'm mad?” said Alice. “You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here.” Lewis Carroll

        My thoughts exactly. I have a direct connection between my optic nerve and the fingers on my left hand. When the optic nerve detects an asterisk in a tab, it tells the fingers Ctrl+Shift+S.

          It's probably happened to a lot of us at one time and while I don't save every line of code I do commit frequently or recommended to be committed frequently can't remember which? :)

              I can understand. I made a career out of going out with damaged women. Thank god for damaged women and alcohol, otherwise I would not have had sex in my lifetime. :-D

                  Only two hours? Now you know what to do you'll have it re-made a lot faster. I once reverted code I had been working on for over a day. Of course I saved my work every few minutes, but source control can do that sort of stuff. Needless to say I wasn't to happy about it. A few hours later and I was back where I left off.

                  It's an OO world.

                  public class Sander : Lazy<Person>{
                  public void DoWork(){ throw new NotImplementedException(); }
                  }

                    Mine is the realisation that the files you though were the latest save version committed everywhere are not when you check out the code the following day... the 'should not got out of bed moment' :rolleyes:
