First cold in 2+ years

Got hit by a whopper of a cold at work today and actually had to come home and rest. Sucks, 'cos I love what I do (a little too much). -30C (-22F) wind chill doesn't help. Chugging soup and aimlessly browsing the web, when I'd rather be writing code. Stuffy head and runny nose makes that nigh impossible. Admittedly, most people would kill to have my problems. :) /ravi

The great thing about working from home was, I kept on coding, I'd just take some breaks if I felt like I was lagging. I think I could still take work home if I was sick though, or find some other coding to do ( write an article at least )

I've worked thru a sickness before, but right now I feel so broken I dare not attempt to think. Popped a couple of OTC miracle workers - if they do their thing, I might embrace Visual Studio (with much glee) later tonight. Right now I have a throbbing head and a nose that resembles a leaky faucet so I think I might just lie down and get some shut-eye. :) /ravi

A number of years ago, my wife, daughter and myself all got the chicken pox virus. For me, it ended up as conjuctivitis. Couldn't go to the office, but designed and wrote a log truck scale reader application. It was kinda nice to just do coding with no interruptions. Well, plenty of liquids, rest and hope you feel better soon. Tim
