Have just got home after dinner out, my first response ... This clue is so confusing that I really have no idea what he is on about.

OK, have had time to peruse the clue ... I did get one for Christmas and my wife has a photo of me asleep in it. I'm sooooo embarrassed that I actually wrote that ... I blame Nagy for introducing me to Hendrick's finest (gin that is).

I must check in with MM next time I am out in the wilds of western Sydney as to why downunderites feel the the need to post to CP after partaking of a drink or two. (mind you I have heard that Lutonites are fond of a wee tipple or two!)

Where is everybody? Do I have to transport the concrete as well as excavate the trench! (I really have dug myself into a hole haven't I!)

It is the bane of all those with a British Heritage. We feel the call of the booze. Although I have been good. Not a drop of grog since New Years Eve. I haven't taken the pledge or become a Methodist, I just needed to lose weight and save a bit of cash. (Hoping to buy another house and need to get the deposit together a bit sharpish). Back on it come April time. (It being Gin, Pimms or Fruity Cider)

Well done! No way I could have managed that since New Year! Mind you it is summer for us, and there are just too many opportunities for a GnT by the pool, to make abstinence attractive.
