Are you seriously telling me you don't love windows 8?

I'd rather suck a dog off than use Windows 8 on a regular basis.

Yes, well, erm, wouldn't we all? Do I take it, sir, that the joke icon meant my sarcasm sailed over your head like a drop-bear on a bungie?

A very well written satirical testimonial. Creative writing with a real 'come in spinner' twist. Well I enjoyed it.

You are clearing deranged. Windows 8 and Joke don't belong in the same universe let alone one belong in the other.

Maybe my new job has sent me out to install or fix one too many Windows 8 machines and I just don't find it funny any more. Didn't care for it the first few times, now I can feel it sucking the life out of me.

Don't know what to say about the start menu except even though I have access to it in Windows 8.1 I never use it because I had learned to do without it in Windows 8.

Yes Scot's tutorials are very good. I think if more people watched them they wouldn't find Windows 8.1 so intimidating.

how did I miss that! thank you and to return the favour, create yourself a folder called godmode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and click into it, I have it set as a toolbar on my desktop taskbar I forget where I got it from so I cannot give credit to the right person but worth passing on

I tried it for a couple of days too, but I couldn't get used to it. However, I'm open to be convinced and it will be very nice if you could give some specific points on why and/or how exactly is it better when compared to Windows 7.

One thing that hardly gets any notice is the integration of the Microsoft Account. I know that doesn't really apply to enterprise/AD environments, but for a guy who uses Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 on a desktop and a laptop and has a significant other who uses Windows Phone as well as OneDrive, it's really great to be able to share resources like OneNote, calendars, etc.
