One thing I have ( that is somehow related to the "different culture/different strokes" thread below) been wondering : where does the "PLLLZZZ Urgenttttt" actually come from ? Is this something cultural, like an idioms of some sort in another language ? Or a bad translation ?

Moronity - They don't see that (at least trying to write) proper english on an english site will get them further. But then again, all humans are supposed to learn during their life and so I hope that they will, too. It's not cultural, look at all these poor human beings on Twitter who are shortening and abusing their language (be it english or german or french) to sound 'cool' and tell the world more of what doesn't interest anyone in 140 characters.
I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

But then again, all humans are supposed to learn during their life and so I hope that they will, too. Could be a cultural thing... Every time I deal with some of our international customers (I won't name anyone), we get interesting English (although, I'm sure they find American English to be odd as well).

These are morons, too - The worst kind of morons since they mostly think that they are the new Steve Jobs. Like the fellow apprentice who has the job to make a C# eLearning and decided to leave object orientation away and present the procedural way (Console apps yelling "Hello World" at you, and stuff like that). When I pointed him towards this lack, and he answered that: - He wanted to keep it easy - Didn't want to use C instead because the Syntax is different ("You have pointers in C") - Object orientation doesn't needs to be understood when learning C# I was hardly able to contain myself - These are future Pros.

You have pointers in C# but they are called references and they a little bit different Well your friend is right who the hell needs to know OOP, it is never used anyway :laugh:

On a realistic note, I think it just grew out of escallation. early on someone posted "Urgent Please!" Someone else did "Urgent PLZ" becasue they didn't know how to spell please and so it escalated - with people copying (from memory) otehr people's words, in anotehr language, until it became a meme in its own right.
