Not at all, it's a will-o’-the-wisp! May be consequence of a martian cimetery?

Light on Mars[^] If you ignore the reference to the UFO site, it's pretty interesting.

Cool post, John, but I just couldn't resist the infantile response. Forgive me; I have sinned. And I greatly look forward to doing so again. :-D

I've followed that link pposted there, to another recent article regarding an underground ocean on a Saturn moon: http://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/nation-world/nation/article/Vast-ocean-found-beneath-ice-of-Saturn-moon-5379293.php?t=ab925eed370d63c2dd[^] Interestingly, a snapshot of water geysirs there look very similar to this mars snapshot. Might be the reflection off a geysir - whatever it consists of. I doubt the interpretation of a 'beam of light' - it's too sharp and tightly focused. Much more likely a reflection. If of a geysir, or of a 1:4:9 monolith - that remains to be seen ;)

GOTOs are a bit like wire coat hangers: they tend to breed in the darkness, such that where there once were few, eventually there are many, and the program's architecture collapses beneath them. (Fran Poretto) Point in case: http://www.infoq.com/news/2014/02/apple_gotofail_lessons[^]

Someone beamed down and saw they were being watched and beamed right back up. We should have been hiding.

I confess I got lost walking back from the pub on Saturday. So I stopped and lit a ciggy.

Won't the heat from the light bulb melt the Mars Bar?
