I made a batch of this for the office, on request. It went faster than the bacon brittle. I couldn't stand it. But the girls in front office loved it. Gotta make sure you get as much grease off the bacon as reasonable. It ends up making things a bit messy otherwise.

It looks like too much work. I'd just each the chocolate while waiting for the bacon to cook, then eat that too. :-D

If you use low sugar dark chocolate I can see this being a good combination, although as I don't like bacon I wouldn't want it.
