I'm sorry about our waffling on Iraq. I mean, when you're going up against a crazed dictator, you wanna have your friends by your side. I realize it took more than 2 years before you guys pitched in against Hitler, but that was different. Everyone knew he had weapons

I don't get it President Bush is accused of Crimes Against Peace, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity. No crimes are greater threats to the Constitution of the United States, the United Nation Charter, the rule of law or the future of humanity. What are the exact crimes that he has commited? Do the US courts have jurisdiction over what they allege he has done? Regardz Colin J Davies

Well, ANSWER is a dubious organization at best, having funded some pretty immoral stuff in the past. However, I signed it. I want the guy out of office. But realistically, I suspect that nothing will come of this except: 1. getting onto some Homeland Security badguy list 2. getting reams of junk mail 3. getting spammed #1 I don't care about. #2 I feel bad about the trees, and #3 I can filter and ignore. During 2001, at least 3,048 prisoners were executed in 31 countries and 5,265 people were sentenced to death in 69 countries. These figures include only cases known to Amnesty International; the true figures are certainly higher. In 2001, 90 per cent of all known executions took place in China, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the USA. In China, the limited and incomplete records available to Amnesty International at the end of the year indicated that at least 2,468 people were executed, but the true figure was believed to be much higher. At least 139 executions were carried out in Iran. In Saudi Arabia, 79 executions were reported, but the total may have been much higher. Sixty-six people were executed in the USA. Overall, 1 of every 2,034,000 people were executed in the world. In China, 1 of every 519,000 people were executed. In Iran, 1 of every 446,000 people were executed. In Saudi Arabia, 1 of every 304,000 people were executed. In USA, 1 of every 4,484,000 people were executed. So, once again you have to ask yourself, do you really give a rats ass about the death penalty or are you just using it to mindlessly bash the USA. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

I was talking about civilized, democratic countries. China, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, ... are permanently violating human rights. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against US, only against G. Bush.

The articles of impeachment are listed on the web site. I won't repeat them here. We impeached Clinton over lying about a blowjob. Surely Bush's rush to invade a country with no provocation is a more serious matter.

Do they believe that wins the debate? Why don't they simply stop responding so they don't make themselves look so foolish? If you bothered to follow the thread you would have seen that he responded to two sets of facts by essentially saying, "well, I just don't like Bush". There can be no debate in that set of circumstances so I simply posted my opinion. Mike

I cited a number of reasons about why Bush should be considered a criminal. Your only argument was an insult, a very poor one, I don't give a shit though. take care

Who imposes the death penalty is jury by recomendation of the judge (if I'm not mistaken). The governor has the power to pardon certain inmates on death row. So your argument that Bush is a murderer is ridiculous and uninformed. Juan Carlos Cobas wrote: He is accomplice of the crimes committed by Sharon. Which crimes has Sharon committed? And how has Bush been an accomplice? Without going into a pointless (and probably very uninformed) argument, I believe that Sharon is responding to terrorist attacks committed by uncontrolled groups, that unfortunately hide among the civilian population. Obviously there must have been excesses, but civilians on both sides have been affected. Juan Carlos Cobas wrote: He will kill thousands of innocents in Iraq Future tense. Let's wait and see. It might be cleaner than what you think. I believe that the vast majority of iraqis will be very happy to see Saddam and his regime go away.
