Curiously, I wouldn't I already know what an electric shock feels like, and go out of my way to avoid them...

So you wouldn't stand on top of the train bridge peeing on the power lines then?

So do I, but it might be of a different strength or duration. I'm only familiar with the 230V from the grid (not fun), static shocks of varying intensity (a bit fun?) and electric fences (would touch for a bet but not for entertainment).

It's a well-known fact that the vast majority of people can't stand being alone, and need to be in some kind of communication with other people at all times -- hence the overwhelming popularity of mobile phones and social media, and even fora like this one (although I think people come here when they don't want to work, rather than to not be alone). People generally are a pack of bluddy idiots who don't have enough ideas in their heads to keep them busy for five minutes.

Indeed. I don't own a cell phone, I don't have a twitter or facebook account, and I actually prefer being left the f*ck alone for extended periods of time.

But would you do it? :-) Then you should consider the possibility that the train line you stand above has overhead lines with 25kv. (650V third rail sounds more like the underground to me.) Still probably safe actually. But would you do it?

Not really - not just because of the risk, but because I don't consider it acceptable to pee in public. It's bad enough having to clean dog pee off car and motorcycle tyres - human pee I don't want to have to clean up, so why should I make someone else do it?

Now the real question is: What would it look like if more than one person was in the room, and pushing the button would shock at least one of them. Now is it going to be boredom to drive those people to push the button?! ... probably not!

Wow I stand I awe for this level of ignorance. So what can I gather from this statement of yours? 1. You've obviously never had any children to look after. 2. You've been also spared from caring for disabled elderly persons (like uhmmm your parents or grand paremts maybe) 3. Urine is one of those bodily secretions with the least amount of bacterial contamination compared to what other orifices have to offer. So what's the deal with that? (This may not be true for some cases where uretheral infections are involved.) 4. I'm a hiker, a biker (bicycles) and a fisherman and pretty please dispatch of my accumulated liquid wastes however fits the purpose. (OK, I try not to do that in populated areas, especially when other, more discrete, means of disposal are available) Cheers! ;P

I'd press it. Probably not 190 times though. But after a couple of minutes I'd get curious about that shock. A minute more and I'd have to know. Of course I'd be thinking the whole time - about that shock.

(OK, I try not to do that in populated areas, especially when other, more discrete, means of disposal are available) Cheers! ;P

You'd take wrong as well - I've changed my share of nappies and wiped my mother's bottom when she had her brain tumour. Doesn't mean I want to clean up after strangers, any more than I want to go round with a pocket full of pooper scooper bags and clean up after other people's dogs!
