Who will be winner ?

As history says that winner will be from a country of continent where FIFA World cup host specially for North South America. My two favorite team from North South America is Argentina and Brazil. Unfortunately Brazil is out but fortunately Argentina is going to play final after 34 years. Top teams from Europe such as Netherlands, England, France and Spain are out so only hope is Germany. The Germany team is experienced and their goalkeeper did super job in this FIFA world cup. I think its time for Messi...what to you think? :)

Little correction: Its 24 years (1990-2014). Also I think that the continent statement is antique. Not only did Brazil win in Sweden '58, a lot of other teams have been really close to winning. In the end always the favorite won (e.g. 1986 Argentina with a superb Diego Maradona). Consider South Africa 4 years ago, not only did not an African team win, also there wasn't even a team from South America in the final. In my opinion the myth was created in the early years when soccer was not as global and professional as today and when traveling was still bound too a lot more burdens. Now every professional team is having their boot camps in some hot / dry countries and most (South) American players are playing together with European players (in European clubs). On the other side: In my opinion Argentina is a lot weaker than 2010, but they are stronger in the defense. I don't know if that will make a difference. Germany is also weaker than in 2010, but they don't only play a charming offensive, but can also play a turtle defense.

I think, Germany will be winner and hold up World Cup. Messi is the best and famous player but Argentina Team's team sprite is not good as well as Germany. Germany is good at team sprite and there are also famous players such as Muller and Closes. ;P
