After a few weeks of exercising, drinking only water and green tea and having no cake, crisps or anything with a considerable amount of fat and/or sugar... I lost 2 kg! :D 2 kg doesn't sound like much of an achievement, but I come from 64 kg, so that's not a lot already (I'm 1,80m long)... I'm trying to get rid of my belly (where most, if not all, of that 64 kg is stored...). Looks like a beer belly, except I don't drink beer. And I actually started working out with dumbells. Maybe I can grow some muscles and actually gain some weight (with muscles, not fat). I'm hoping the new and improved me will be ready in a few months (or at least version 2.0) :D Who knows I'll keep up this healthy new lifestyle with good food and exercise and I'll get the 2.1 upgrade of myself.

    It's an OO world.

    Good start keep er up

Have you ever just looked at someone and knew the wheel was turning but the hamster was dead? Trying to understand the behavior of some people is like trying to smell the color 9. I'm not crazy, my reality is just different than yours!

Seriously, that is a fantastic achievement. I've spent a lot of effort trying to keep the weight stable and know what effort it takes to push it in the negative direction. You rock!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Cheers, Mike

I ... am not sure what to think here. I mean, 64kg for 1m80 is close to the lower limit of the "normal" weight (according to BMI), so you are already close to be too ... slim. I wonder how you can develop a beer belly in this condition.

Yeah, in nearly every company I'm the lightest in the room, my arms and legs are the thinnest in the room, many 'regular-sized' girls are bigger and heavier than me... But my belly stands out and, despite everything else, is the biggest in the room (or at least looks biggest because it's so out of proportion) :sigh: If some of the 64 kg was muscles and some of the fat went to my arms and legs I'd have a perfectly healthy body. Unfortunately I have no (visible) muscles and all the fat is in one place.

Yeah, if only... The 64 kg is all in one place, my belly. I'm also a lot less muscled than most guys, so 64 kg is mostly fat.

I hate to tell you this, but "a considerable amount of fat and/or sugar" isn't the problem. The problem is where there's a considerable amount of both. Eat as much fat as you like, and as much sugar as you like, as long as it's not in the same mouthful. Another big no-no is sugar and water, so no more snacks of cake and cola, K? (And, horror of horrors, no more brown sauce on your bacon butties!)
