    Today we reflect on #256 of Rulez of CodeProject 256. Only high-rep members are allowed to make unfunny jokes. make sure you read the sub rules pertaining to that just so that you do not break the law in any way :rolleyes: If you have any more ideas on rules to add just comment or take a look here Edit: New rules added and updated

    257. Only high-rep members are affected by rule 256 ;P

    if(this.signature != "") { MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature); } else { MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found"); }

      Rule 256 a: If your reputation is not high enough and you have posted a joke, then you must endure being mocked by JSOP. I think, I made a friend for life back then, but what did our cowboy expect? I survived the highschool in Texas.

      The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
      I hold an A-7 computer expert classification, Commodore. I'm well acquainted with Dr. Daystrom's theories and discoveries. The basic design of all our ship's computers are JavaScript.

        Rule 42: Having a signature with a code-snippet which won't compile and doesn't make sense will not be tolerated at all. Rule 42A: A dead person can't learn anything unless he is resurrected as a zombie.

          Seems like I cannot argue, it will go into the rule book then :laugh: EDIT: in regards to your qoute making me 'break' a rule, please refer to this rule: 314. HoneybCBadger does not, and will not give a sh*t. No exceptions. :laugh:

                  Thank You. Now the list is still small so need a lot more rulez. Who knows there might still be a few loop holes to be created with contradicting rules etc. :rolleyes:

                    It's a bit like meta-gaming. The game is to define the rules. One such game, years past, started with a few simple rules about creating rules - you need a transient / in-transient to really make things work - and off we went. The first rule created was "No contradictions" and that was made intransient so it couldn't be killed and off we went. The aim, after several rounds, became to make it that no more rules could be created. :laugh:

                      How exactly will that work? If one rule states that you are not allowed to use the colour red. The next rule can state the the colour red is now reds. The question is will that be picked up as a contradiction as it contradicts the rule in place but now red can be used because it is now known as reds thus making the rule insufficient and thus never broken :rolleyes:

                            We'll need moderators to decide which jokes are funny.

                            Life is like a s**t sandwich; the more bread you have, the less s**t you eat.

                                Considering you can't get downvoted in here any more (STILL A BAD CHANGE CHRIS!), the risk is pretty minimal.
