The answer "up my own [REDACTED]" will not help. I'm looking for a Git repo to store code, designs, docs etc, etc, etc. I would like to have it [0] private and [1] free. bitbucket.org[^] looks a possibility, any others?

If it works, send it to me. If it doesn't, make it work, then send it to me. If you do a really good job, I'll license it back to you.

I can't do that. I made a pact with the Devil to shower me with eternal riches should I sign over the rights to his organisation. Well that's what I thought. Due to misreading the contract I sold out to Santa and each Christmas I get a bloody box set of bloody Eastenders highlights of bloody Alfie bloody Moon!

I'm clearing out my garage at the moment, could probably find some space for it in there. It's been a few years since we've had any problems with mice in there so it should be safe enough.

I ignored them until they moved somewhere nicer. This is also the tactic I have used with my next door neighbours who have sold their house this week.

I noticed some chewed stuff one day, some droppings, had a bit of a tentative poke around and couldn't see anything moving around. Cleared out a while later and there was no further sign and I haven't seen anything since. Sorry. Try a snake.

Github is a common place for it. But I also like to have some offline copy. Like a CD, stick or external harddrive.

Huddersfield Town supporters? I am surprised I didn't think they were good at anything, only problem is that an infestation of footy fans from Huddersfield is probably 10000x worse than mice

The answer "up my own [REDACTED]" will not help. I'm looking for a Git repo to store code, designs, docs etc, etc, etc. I would like to have it [0] private and [1] free. bitbucket.org[^] looks a possibility, any others?

You got at least two options... 1. Seriously, for $10 a month you can host your own at Dreamhost[^] or just about most web hosts. 2. Or, to be even more simple, get a pro Dropbox account for $10 a month. Have your local repo sit anywhere you want and push it to the master repo which sits in your drop box folder. 1TB of space goes a long way, especially if you don't have that many images. Otherwise, go open source, that's when things become free.
