How did you get rid of them ?

I think words like 'destiny' are a way of trying to find order where none exists. - Christian Graus Entropy isn't what it used to.
I ignored them until they moved somewhere nicer. This is also the tactic I have used with my next door neighbours who have sold their house this week.

 Same situation here. The house is on sale, but they have bought somewhere else, so should be away quite soon. As for the mice, I hoped for a good tip, because I cannot seem to get rid of them... :sigh:

The answer "up my own [REDACTED]" will not help. I'm looking for a Git repo to store code, designs, docs etc, etc, etc. I would like to have it [0] private and [1] free. bitbucket.org[^] looks a possibility, any others?
why worry, no one will ever see it again
You cant outrun the world, but there is no harm in getting a head start Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I noticed some chewed stuff one day, some droppings, had a bit of a tentative poke around and couldn't see anything moving around. Cleared out a while later and there was no further sign and I haven't seen anything since. Sorry. Try a snake.

You always have to pay the piper.

Huddersfield Town supporters? I am surprised I didn't think they were good at anything, only problem is that an infestation of footy fans from Huddersfield is probably 10000x worse than mice

Stop feeding them Nagy's code

You got at least two options... 1. Seriously, for $10 a month you can host your own at Dreamhost[^] or just about most web hosts. 2. Or, to be even more simple, get a pro Dropbox account for $10 a month. Have your local repo sit anywhere you want and push it to the master repo which sits in your drop box folder. 1TB of space goes a long way, especially if you don't have that many images. Otherwise, go open source, that's when things become free.

It's not a huge amount, maybe I'll look at dropbox, thanks Jeremy.

If you don't have any images and not too much code, the free account[^] is 2GB. That goes a long way with a compressed source repo.

How about gophers or moles or whatever the little buggers are that are making an underground maze of my entire yard? How did you [not] get rid of them? Or have you? If you did, then give me your solutions. If you did not, then give me ideas for getting rid of them. Just whatever it takes to make them stop digging up the entire back yard -- or if your over the pond -- garden. Please resolve this soon or the entire thing will just be a mud hole.

My BIL had that problem, and tried everything, including some not-so-nice-to-nature methods. He lost the grass twice, had glass shards rise up in the lawn during six months, burned himself with different stuff, and I could stop him in the end just before he threw a hand-grenade. Then he gave up. Three weeks later, the things were gone. True story. I think they were having fun at his attempts and stayed for the entertainment.
