I don't think that you can find any docs any time soon. Notice the release date .. they wanted to push it to fix the time bomb just few hours before it hits .. Also, some MS guys said that the SP2 is not fully tested !! I think that they will push a new -full and documented- update some time later .. I can't see anything wrong in releasing patch for beta products .. remember that MS encourages programmers to start working with the new framework with the new IDE .. and the time bomb definitely interrupts their plans .. // Rafik

That's fine, but too late X|. Actually, VS.NET will not start. Instead a message box appears saying:
You were entitled to use Visual Studio.NET 7.0 Professional - English until July 31, 2001. This product is now in reduced functionality mode. For more information about reduced functionality mode, click the Help button.
, but nothing happens, if I click the mentioned button . The only working thing in this dialog is the Exit button, after clicking it VS.NET closes. No way to check for updates. :( Is there another way to get SP2 than via the IDE? Regards, Thomas

Thank you.Ok, I found it myself: see Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 Service Pack 2:
To apply Service Pack 2, choose Check for Updates from the Visual Studio .NET Help menu. If the time limitation has been activated, you can update Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 as follows.
- In Control Panel, chose Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Visual Studio .NET 7.0 (Professional or Enterprise) - English, and then click Change/Remove.
- Click the third option: Service Releases.
Unfortunately, it is not able to connect to the internet. How the hell I am posting right now?
