Stranger (looking at the amount of Habanero sauce I pour into my Burrito): "The sauce is not very hot, huh?" Me: "I barely notice it." Now years of immunisation in Texas paid off.

The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a fucking golf cart.

I would love to die by a spicy, carne asada, burrito...just not on the toilet with my pants down.

years of questionable drinking habits innoculated me against a particular shot that was served in midtown manhattan almost called the fepperpucker. I used to buy them for troublemakers just to watch them sweat as we sank them. I may not be able to kick your arse, but I can sure make sure you make one out of yourself if need be. Great fun.

you really need to slather hot sauce on buritos to desensitize your mouth to make them edible. ;P

            I'd rather be phishing!

I think that's the beauty of habanero based sauces. Yes, it is spicy, but it has a nice flavor to it and doesn't just burn your mouth off (unless you aren't used to the mass quantities like Chris). I'll put a few drops on the Spicy McChicken sandwiches I occasionally get for lunch. I get glances and questionable looks. But it is nummers, so I don't mind.

Exactly. Once the mouth does not burn anymore, you can taste something again. The people here actually think that tabasco is a terribly hot sauce. i just find it mild and tasty. :-)

I once met a girl that ate Sriracha like it was Sambal. I simply melted.

I guess I'm one of the few who thinks that black pepper is hot :omg: . Eating should not be physically challenging IMHO.

I concur. I have carefully avoided "hot" spices and feel that I enjoy the flavours of food more as a result. When I eat something I want to taste it, not the spicy sauce that could have been slathered all over it. If you put Tabasco sauce on everything, everything will taste of Tabasco and the only thing more boring than that would be only ever eating unseasoned tofu!

                      - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

I have friends that will pour hot sauce on anything and everything, I believe it gives them reason to drink more . Yes, they even add it to  .

Makes me think of the old Dr. Pepper (soft drink) jingle (appropriately modified here):

                          I'm a Fepper,
                          he's a Fepper,
                          she's a Fepper,
                          we're a Fepper!
Wouldn't you like to be a Fepper too?

A positive attitude may not solve every problem, but it will annoy enough people to be worth the effort.

Sorry but I do taste the differences.

Regular Tabasco is rather bland to me. I do keep it for cooking. I use Habanero Tabasco more but it isn't very hot (sometimes I just eat chips by shaking it on each one before I eat it.) I don't put hot sauce on everything nor do I prefer many foods that way. Certainly don't care for jalapenos on pizza or subs. But I have yet to find a mexican place that serves anything that is too hot (and I live in the midwest). I have gotten used to asking at Chinese places for extra hot on their spicy dishes. That usually at least gets it close. A Mongolian place used to come close but that was because I put my own on. But for whatever reason now even that place takes a ridiculous amount to get it close. But it also isn't a contest for me either. I have been able to buy bottled sauces that were too hot.
