Code Snippet - Money

If you had to write a C# code snippet that shows/explains how money is useless, what would it be?

System.Console.WriteLine("how money is useless");

Hey, Now you are a C# developer too! Welcome to the club, and well done! :)

Open source :)

Before starting off with the code, I would first understand the requirement - "How exactly is money useless?" ;)
Ah, Glasshopper, so you are Amelican...

Well, most of the rest of the world is capable of seeing the uselessness of money.

What have you tried so far ?

Thank you! I'll try to opt for a :bob: MVP and to win any of the contests here... I firmly believe this code will open me doors... Just in case, can I give any possible employer your reference? :rolleyes:
Haha, no problem. I can confidently tell them that you have the answer to life and the universe. In C# no less! ;P

Would it be free as in free beer, or free as in freedom? One must know!

- People with no money are eager for change. 1) People with money are resistent to change. 2) Therefore money == resistence 3) "Resistence is useless." -- The Vogon Guard 4) Ergo, money is useless.

Ehr, since when? Money has been the way of the world since recorded history. Show me a society without money, proof that it is useless. I'll take the opposite stand, and claim that a complex society could not have emerged without it.

A non-existing society. Good example. I won't slap you with quotes where they reference using money. Even the original series.

There is no society in that direction :laugh:

The only time they use "currency" (not money) is when dealing with obviously inferior species of aliens. So that equates to us, today. We are an obviously inferior species, because we need a system that uses money.

Because some made up storie can do it (if you ignore the inconsistensies), it must be practically possible? Who would move muck for the philantropical reasons mentioned in star trek? Who would repair a sewer, if there's no reward? It is a brilliant example of how academics fail to see reality and why a global technocracy would be the doom of mankind. Outside of that obvious problem; it would require the removal of competition, something a species which competes to pass its genes will not accept. Sorry, I've been pondering a long time about it before you even brought it up :)
