Plus side: - That god-awful Alba creature isn't in it. Nonplus side: - Not Marvel Studios. - Announced proudly as coming from the "X-Men: Days of Utter Garbage" people. - Conceptually, it doesn't look anything like the Fantastic Four -- it should be more Jetsons than Dark Knight. - The way they keep adding "token blacks" would piss me off royally, if I were black. There'll probably be a token Chinese actress in it, too -- gotta con those minorities into handing money over at the box office, no? - Hollywood ain't a place that gets things right the second time around.

Too few original movies. I get tired of seeing that Marvel logo.

Agree with your point but the reboots should better than existing series at-least not bad. Like Nolan's Dredd, Batman series Not like Robocop, recent Godzilla, Amazing spiderman, Ninja Turtles, etc.,

The only thing that irritates the shit out me every time they decide to "re-heat" a superhero is that we have to see FOR THE ELEVENTY-SEVENTH time how Peter Parker became Spiderman and how Bruce Wayne became Batman etc. Why can't they just move on, assuming that we have already seen one of the zillion movies about that before? X|

I disagree. A reboot for me means a rehash of the story made in a different way - different director, actors, script, staff etc. so it can't be the same. It all really depends on who gets to make the movie. Of course I always wish for movies to be at least as good if not better than the existing series but that isn't the case. As you have pointed out Robocop, Spiderman and Ninja Turtles were all disappointing. Recent Godzilla was great in my opinion.
