Reminds me of the first woman in space - Valentina Tereshkova. She had visited Bangalore in India sometime in the late sixties / early seventies; my mother had seen her then at a public function; and used to remember this for quite long. Addendum / Edit: Just realized that today is Valentine's Day. Any connection?
