That's not exactly a large sample size: 15,000 out of a world population of around 3.6 billion men: 0.00041% I'm guessing it depends on a number of factors: 1) Who did the measuring? Was he / she attractive to the measuree? 2) If the men measured themselves, how many lied? And by how much? And a small ruler won't be sufficient... :-O (See what I mean about the lying? :sigh: )

That's not how sample sizes works in statistics, but you knew that already didn't you? The question is how representative the sample was? And how the distribution looks like for different countries? It doesn't matter if I'm Big in Japan if I'm merely average over here.
