This has been quoted often, but there are products on the market that do just that, which I read to mean that this part of the EULA is not enforceable. Sort of like going into a cleaners and seeing a sign stating that the cleaner is not responsible for items that are destroyed. Just because someone states it doesn't necessarily make it enforceable. Note that this is just my opinion. I'm not a lawyer. I just play one on CodeProject. Hey Mr. Archer, long time no see (though you really had gone inside C#) :-D If I may ask, and hoping I haven't missed some news that makes this question a horrible one, how is the wife doing?

She continues to do extremely well clinically (no temp, feels good, etc.). We saw her liver doc yesterday (we see him every two months). Her "numbers" (blood test results) continue to hold steady (which is good). However, one point of concern for the liver team is that she has some ambiguous numbers that are confusing them. Therefore, they've said that she's finally healthy enough to do a liver biopsy. I guess you could say it's D-Day at this point as this will enable the team to determine once and for all just how much damage her liver has sustained and will give them a clearer picture of what procedures they need to prescribe at this point. Needless to say, we're very anxious about all this, but at least this way we'll have a much firmer understanding of just where she is health-wise. Thanks mate. I've been super busy as of late working on a .NET contract and the book with Nish. Hopefully, things have slowed down a bit in my life so that I can make more appearances now and again :) Cheers, Tom Archer, Inside C# Mainstream is just a word for the way things always have been -- just a middle-of-the-road, tow-the-line thing; a front for the Man serving up the same warmed-over slop he did yesterday and expecting you to say, "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

That's the clinical answer, folks. The word from the street is that these days she's strong enough to keep Tom in line and not take any nonsense from him again. And if you know Tom, you'll understand that this takes a lot of strength... Chistopher Duncan Author - The Career Programmer: Guerilla Tactics for an Imperfect World (Apress)
