The BBC has come under fire in alternating periods for both a liberal and then a conservative bias. Since Auntie Beeb gets it's money from the government, there have always been debates about the degree to which it was truely impartial. On the whole, the BBC does a great job of providing balanced journalism - but there is always the issue of the key appointees at the top of the food chain and to what extent they are merely the lap dogs of their political masters. Also, many Americans would actually consider some of the left-leaning conservatives in the UK to be "liberal" - given that the political cultures are really very different. Clinton would hardly be classified as a liberal in the UK. As such, it's awkward to say that the BBC has an overtly liberal bias.

I stopped to be as news addict as before when this war began. Too much noise, too many mediatic operations, too many manipulations whatever the side. With this restriction, war time is more "bearable" (if I can say that, living in comfort and in a peaceful place :|), but it doesn't change I wish it will end the sooner possible.
