I'm not sure I have that 30 day to test it - so I actually ask: Did you used it? It is good? (I know that is supports MVC and other Microsoft, so it is more about support and reliability)

WinHost[^] has been recommended by others here in the past, I found it easy to set up and administrate. Currently though, I have a couple servers running on a free EC2 instance, and I just configure it as I want with whatever database, web server, etc. I did an informal performance comparison between Amazon's free offering and a paid subscription (with better VM and bandwidth, supposedly) and found no difference in performance! Might be my website, and I certainly didn't do any load testing, since that's not of concern anyways. I wonder why Microsoft doesn't offer a truly free Azure instance - that's why I'm using Amazon. I do use it but for a very low volume site so not a real-world recommendation. That said I have not had any problem with it. There are restrictions on the free level - I think around SSL and using your own domain name...

Agreed: I'm using RDS and it works really well: the free version appears to work wonderfully well; very quick response. Now just working up the courage to put a website up there as well! :-)

I've been using Azure (2 Web Applications sharing a sql database) for over 4 months now. I had it all working on the first day with no problems. :)

I've been using Arvixe for several years and the have generally been fine, but in the last month their support has been virtually non-existant. I think they have been upgrading their systems and I suspect things have gone badly wrong. Support tickets don't get addressed for days on end (if at all), their discussion boards have been closed down (I suspect to head off user complaints) and there have been quite a few service interruptions. I'm hoping this is temporary, and they get back to their normal ways soon.

I haven't had any problems in quite a while but I hate to hear they're having these problems that's why I edit my last hope.

Arvixe is now purchased by EIG. A lot of old staffs had been let go and replaced by EIG staffs. There is a big chaos now happening in Arvixe. Now, Arvixe is no longer that we used to know. If you don't mind me asking how much does that cost you a month? I've been looking to moving to Azure but don't know if they can beat Fasthosts 7 quid a month I'm paying! If you do mind me asking then just ignore the post

No problem...it's around $70 USD per month. One Web App is Free and the other is in the Basic (Small) plan and runs about $42 and the S1 level SQL Database is about $26. :)
