Check the whatsapp received images - a higher number of topless women would indicate that it's a man's phone.

Is there a quick way to find if a smartphone's being owned by a guy or a lady? What signs you'll for when you are asked to solve this puzzle? :)

You could ask them instead of being a creep about it. Seriously man, that's not right. If you know the person you'll know. If you don't then what's the point? Stalking?

Damnit Jeremey! You just strained the brotherhood of real-men. We don't do stalking , do we? That's a long process. We get laid in simple steps. And this is just an imaginary puzzle to see what people think about Men owning a smartphone & Women owning a smartphone.

My current phone is my ever first 'smart' phone - it is less than one year old...Before that I had a simple flip-phone from Samsung... My phones are smart because I use them in a smart way - if not these are only a piece of metal does not matter what version number sticked to it...

Skipper: We'll fix it. Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this? Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

I still use one of those Samsung flip phones. The screen and buttons are protected, unlike the smart phones that can place calls without your knowledge or crack under the weight of my fat ass. My provider keeps trying to convince me that I would be better off with a new phone on a plan that costs 1200%-1800% over the cost of my existing plan. For that amount, I could fly to Japan and buy a new flip phone off the shelf.

The difficult may take time, the impossible a little longer.

Simple, look at the lock screen background image. - Guys: Leave the stock background image or put things men like, like a sports car. - Girls: Put a selfie picture, or other girly stuff.

Count the number of apps that come pre-installed. Subtract it from the total apps on the phone. If it is less than 10, you know it is a lady's phone.

Depends on the woman, but in my experience many women's smart phones have a makeup laced cheek print on the screen.

First, in order to solve this problem, I need to understand why? Then I need to understand the intended accuracy required to be considered successful? Then I would need to know if I am allowed to install an application? Then I would need to know if I can ask the user any questions, or use their search history or their cookies, or their email connected to the device? The real questions are the Why and the Environment? If it is to pick one out of a box and determine it, without turning it on, very different approach from a web page that has potential face book access. In the physical world: - Detection of phermones on the phone, or perfumes - Color In the Technical World: - First Names of most active texting partners! - Choosen Name for the phone/their name - Did they indicate Ms, Mrs. etc. anywhere we have access to? - Word usage in texting - Gender detection of images - Surfing History, cross referencing to some standards.

You can use a smart phone and still get by cheaply. I've got a Moto E and use a pay-as-you-go plan with Page Plus Cellular (an MVNO on Verizons network). I turned off cellular data since I have almost no need to try to view the web on such a small screen. I spent around $65 bucks total for last years cell service (yeah, I don't like to talk/text much). I probably get more usage of the calculator App I installed then actually talking on the phone.

no lie, We found a large 6 plus a month ago. Fairly beat to crap, Mirror screen protector. Slightly pinkish (mauve) case. Figured for sure it was a ladies (young woman's) phone. Put out an APB in the company email system for the building. A very masculine old guy showed up to claim it. Had him unlock the phone with the proper code and show us the name in the company directory with this phone listed. Yep it is his. Don't judge people. I shouldn't have.

I still have you beat. I have $32 remaining on my $20/year Motormouth pay-as-you-go plan from Vodafone. At my current rate of usage, my next top up will leave me with a $38 balance. Latest offerings from all local providers keep pushing carryover data which I don't need at a cheap $19/MONTH. My Samsung came with a calculator app onboard plus a Sudoku app to use while waiting for others to get off their phones. One of my few complaints is the smallish screen size, but I can live with that.

Never heard of them. Are they America based? What network is it? I like Verizon for the great coverage. My first year was only $45, but last year I took a number of motorcycle trips and was required by the wifey to call at least twice a day! :) The default calculator app on my phone isn't very good, I needed something with more power as an accessory when doing DSP work.

Vodafone is international, Europe-based (I think). They are one of the few providers we have down here in New Zealand. Verizon does do business in NZ, but mostly dealing with heavy IT networks. They give Cisco a fairly good run for the money. As far as the trips, it's cheaper here to call cellphone-to-cellphone than cellphone-to-landline. Most of my calls are to the City Council raising an issue regarding maintenance in the city parks. It's always to a landline, and I make sure they never put me on hold.

Is it pink? If yes, then there you go. If not - Does it have any feminine extensions, perhaps an attached mirror or a heart sticker glued on - then there you go. See text messages - do they have a lot of "Aww", "Cute", {other feminine adjectives here}? - then there you go. See if it has any feminine apps (CandyCrush, the one with a jumping unicorn, etc) installed - then there you go. These distinctions should suffice the purpose.

                                        You have just been Sharapova'd.
