All my email accounts are disabled and I cannot re-enable them. Three days ago, the website's application pool was stopped, but at least I was able to restart it. Buh-bye.

Strange. All my Arvixe based email accounts are working fine - though there was a glitch for an hour or so yesterday when the email server stopped responding - and my apps are all working fine. Have you tried technical support?

Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

According to most/all accounts, tech support is completely ineffectual.

I've always found their support to be stellar compared to other companies. They did have an outage Thursday....the first one I've experienced in many years.

They've had a couple of near shut-downs due to DDOS attacks this year, but I always get good notices by email telling me what's happening and why. The email outage the other day was the first I've seen in about 5 years, and I have to agree - the technical support I've had has been pretty good. Certainly miles better than some hosting companies I've used. Time will tell if the EIG takeover will ruin a good company. If it does, I'll move my domain, simple as that...but not until it does. ;)

Your kidding right? We've had several discussions on here in the last few days about their support or lack thereof. I've had a ticket in for days with no response. Chat said he would look at it and get back to me 2 days ago and I sent an email to billing days ago...nope! They suck!

Arvixe was best so far, till now they're starting to be crap. The online chat support was good and fast, but now you have to force wait 80 minutes no matter if they are busy or not, meanwhile hoping the internet connection doesn't drop.

I have had problems with the application pool stopping for my main mojoportal site at random intervals for the last month. They insist (on the odd occasions that I have been able to get a response from them) that is a coding problem, not a configuration problem, which I do not believe. One person told me that they had configured the pool to restart automatically, then the next person tells me that they don't do this. Today I had an email from them accusing me of abuse of terms and conditions by backing up my websites and databases and having these backups in my supposedly "unlimited" storage space. If I hadn't renewed my hosting six months ago, I would be looking for alternatives at the moment. P.S. They seem to respond quicker to issues highlighted by Twitter - presumably because these are publicly visible. They have shut down their discussion boards, presumably to head off the shitstorm the would have had.

They got rid of 90% of the Arvixe support staff when the takeover happened. Anyone remaining ahs so many calls to try to deal with that it's impossible for them to cope.

At least I was able to turn the Application Pool back on, myself. The disabled email...nope. Check the box and the checkmark didn't "stick". Dropped them over the weekend and set up at winhost. Winhost seems to be verrry sloooow, but it's probably something I have misconfigured. :p
