FYI: couple contract-to-hire positions available in the NY City for qualified Microsoft full-stack developers (Win/Web) plus Javascript libs of any flavor (e.g. jQuery). 10+ yrs experience w/proven dev track record (e.g. CP and stackoverflow ratings, links to app portfolio, contest awards, etc.) and proficiency in fin technology is a must. Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. Submit your info to: infosoft at nyc.rr.com, put "nycquant212-" prefix in subject line. Please limit your submission to approx. nvarchar(2048), text only, NO attachments (links OK). Response via email will be provided only to candidates of interest at our sole discretion. Thanks for the consideration. Best Regards, Infosoft team PS. ...btw, it's beautiful in the City today :)

I don't think this is what the Lounge is for. Am I wrong about that?

Maybe if you had started out with saying how nice NY is and such, and then mentioned that by the way you know of some local openings...

And where else on Codeproj am I supposed to post this job-related message?

Nowhere. It's a programming site, not a job site. Apart from that, the Lounge is likely the worst place to post a job offering, since a) Everyone is pissed of by recruiters (and similar subjects) b) Half of the people here are either drunk, or happily unemployed

Why are you limiting us to one or the other?
