I afraid that 'We don't know how much we know' is polite way to tell 'We know that we know nothing'.

I remember reading this when I was a kid. Let me try to take a shot at writing it. Not sure if I remember it correctly. But here goes: He who knows and knows that he knows is a genious, seek him He who knows and knows not he knows is ignorant, guide him He who knows not and knows he knows not is a student, teach him He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool, shun him

Well, sex is a major force, I can't deny that. But if it wasn't for gaining knowledge, we'd still be hunting game with our bare hands. Sex had little, or nothing, to do with our current technology. :) -- Tune your mind, reach inside, peel away Touch, Taste, Feel, Saturation

You are right if you are programmer :), else: if we do not know how much we know, it is for sure that we know nothing. (Contraposition: If we now something, we know how much we know. :)) Only question is: We know it or not? Does it change that we do not know how much we know? I would say: No. ;)

Since I don't kow how much or little I know, I thought I'd check out your minion link animation. Bob has never looked so fine. Even when I clicked and dragged him around, he got upset. As one becomes older, experience teaches us that we really don't know more, at least not when it comes to social and behavioral issues. Scientifically, sure, we know more. Spiritually, we seem to know less and less every year. Good post, BTW! Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.
