I'm as pro-Southern as you can get, but even I was embarressed by all the happy slaves doteing after massa. In terms of the actually war, it almost tries too hard to be historical accurate - I've seen documentaries on the history channel that contained more engaging dramatic interpretations of the conflict. The acting was horrible. Duval slept through his cameo as Lee. Daniels as Chamberlain seemed embarressed to be part of it and poor Lang as Jackson gave it his best shot but was simply given nothing to work with. (The movie basically goes from one disjointed scene after another between scenes of Jackson fervently praying) Other than those three, there simply was no acting at all. Also, the movie's attempts at special affects was pathetic. I could have done better with crayons. "My job is to protect America" George W. Bush.

Never saw that but going by the name, I'd hazzard a guess at it being as bad as anything I've seen before. Regards, Brian Dela :-)

I think it was intentionally bad. Personally, I prefer Critters. :) Anna :rose: Homepage | My life in tears

if the producer wanted to make a movie about father/son or god/man issues he probably could've done it without using an alien invasion of the entire world as a backdrop. -c

Try this one for size (so to speak ;) ) http://us.imdb.com/Title?0116791[^] Actually it's not as bad as it sounds - I found it quite amusing. OptusVision back in Australia were running it two or three years ago and whilst I never actually watched it start to finish in one setting I eventually caught all of it (one of the few advantages of the incessant repeats you get on pay-tv). Oh my God, the Killer Condom! I've got a buddy that collects craptastic movies, and this is one of his favorites. Quite multicultural, actually...something like a bunch of German actors, who are playing French detectives, dubbed in horrible English, filmed in Bulgaria or something...who cares if it makes your eyes bleed, eh?;P Jeremy Kimball

The flintstones movie. This was playing on a Newark - S.F flight I was on, so I couldn't just walk out. I tried to block out the pain by reading, but the soul killing badness of the moview leaked around my defenses.

These are all bad, but none of them compare to the horrific "Look who's talking too", which I was also forced to watch on an airplane. These babies talk! They have real thoughts, just like us! Oh my aching sides. So funny, especially for two hours. I haven't seen Dr. Dolittle 2, but I imagine that's an unholy bunch of crap as well.

"Isaac Asimov's Nightfall" "Sten King's The Lawnmower Man" Both execrable renditions of wonderful stories. I walked out of both. "Solaris" also sucked.. as did "Signs"...

I watched 'Signs' on DVD. My boredom threshold held out for the first 20 minutes. That has got to be in my top 5 worst films ever. It was like a car crash - it was really bad but you just couldn't help watching. Towards the end I was squirming in my seat, *praying* for the end of the film. Why I just couldn't hit the eject button I don't know. And this is from the same guy who did 'Sixth Sense' ????.. What went wrong?!
