I can see no other reason to be banging on about this when you've already been told that the majority here don't agree with you. You are annoying. There is no "con job" in regards with Windows 10. You are free to use it or not. You don't like it, use something else. I like it and use it, so, in that particular case, our two views cancel each other's.

Agreed this is getting silly. The only personal machine I have that's not running 10 yet, is a laptop old enough it came with Vista. :rolleyes: It's not upgraded mostly because it's not free; assuming it's still alive a year from now (or is needed sooner as an emergencyish loaner for a family member) I'll figure out where my folder with the W7 keys is to give it an upgrade; until then it can just sit since I don't use it for anything.

I gave up caring about my operating system. I spend most of my day in Visual Studio and a web browser. As long as those work, the supporting platform is not much of an issue.

I am neither defending nor attacking it. I installed it without a problem of any kind in September and I've had not a single problem since. That's a simple fact. What I won't put up with is this absurd, hyperbolic, unfounded nonsense about it being a 'con', especially in the form of a repost when the first didn't go as well as the poster hoped!
