I got an email from a recruiter that said I was a perfect fit for, and I kid you not, a Dentist Receptionist. Even with random word matches on my CV I still can't figure out how I got on the distribution list! :)

Well using computers to search for patient records / coding complex solutions to store and find said patient records. It's all the same right? ;P

I got phoned by an agency that specialised in technical positions. The job she wanted me for was a Motor Mechanic. I told her I didn't know anything about cars. She said but your CV says you're an Engineer but you don't know anything about Engines? She then scoffed at me.

You should have tastefully replied: ' . . . and you're supposed to be a recruiter but certainly don't know sh^t about recruiting'
