29th August marks the birthday for me. Although saying stuff like, "I learnt a lot" means nothing but I did learn a lot from non-Mentoring mentors unknowingly. Just 4 years ago I was a no one, in the family, friends, area and even on the Internet. Desperation motivated me to learn HTML, heartbreak forced me to go and learn C#, behavior of family helped me a lot in being a good software developer when I was getting too much annoying error messages. Their behavior helped me to know "patience" a bit more clearly. Basically, I remember my life took a turn of 180 degrees when I first accepted the Bob! I mean the sticker pack, that was the time when my family really allowed me to do programming on my Pentium 4 desktop (until then I had to wake up at nights, when everyone was asleep, so that they cannot come into the room and unplug the desktop, for no reason at all!). How I spend this night is a bit awkward, I just overdose myself with 2-4 mugs of tea, I listen to Eminem, I reconsider the hell I was put through. But sometimes, you have to go through these stages. Finally, I go to sleep hoping my next year is a better one when it never is. Maybe, I should leave it out for some other time. :-) Happy birthday to myself, and to others out there who share the same date with me. If you are from Pakistan, we can share some time, or tea tomorrow!

Happy birthday! Well, in my country your birthday isn't until another hour, but let's pretend it is! :D May the future bring less desperation (although you'll have plenty if you're still doing HTML), more love (and less heartbreak), and lots of clean code! :D

I can deal with error messages in my code, it's the error message from my family (particularly future in-laws) that I can't deal with. ;) Happy Birthday! Marc

Errors in the codes are plain sweets compared to the family errors and bugs. May God save us and our souls from them.
