Person makes a shiny new widget... Normal Person

Oh, this is so cool. How did you do that? You're so smart. That's wonderful.

    Developer

That sucks. What are you an F'ing moron? I can do better. Why oh God why does this exist?

Person buys a new computer... Normal Person

Oh, this is so cool. This machine is amazing. Look how far technology has come.

    Developer

It looks like a typewriter caught rabies and shat out a monitor. My watch is more powerful. You paid what for this?

    Ordering a burger... Normal Person

Oh, this is so tasty. What a wonderful and hearty meal.

    Developer

They put the lettuce on wrong. There's approximately 35 well-known websites that can attest to that. Morons.

Here's my entry, I call it : Biography of A Software Developer (in one pic)[^] I created that image after I had worked for hours on an iOS app thing and then when the user finally sees it they say,

"Uh, yeah, it's obvious it should do that..."

My book, Launch Your Android App, is available at Amazon.com.

These days developers are so soft, ... once twas a sin to put veges in a burger, Burger: large piece of steak (mince was considered too unhealthy as components unidentifiable), 2 tiny bits of bun (only needed to be only large enough to keep the fingers clean), lashings of butter if there is any available (as much as will stick to the bun), whatever condiments available (as much as will stick to the steak) vegetables sighted were thrown into a cupboard to see how much fungus they would sustain - yup, real science happened [while waiting for machine to boot] ... something else today's kids miss out on. - (although we never found the answers; due to stink the cupboard was only opened long enough to add more veges - all because letting your fungus starve was considered cruel.)
