As someone what lived in London for some years, I found the secret of Harrods, Harveys, et al is in the high ticket items. Leave the tat rooms behind and head for where the more expensive stuff is. When I got my coffee machine it was listed as between £500 and £600 everywhere i looked except Harrods. There I picked it up for £400 on the nose with a box of freebies thrown in. I believe the word is Kerching.

Seeing the size of that list, I'm again grateful I don't live in the UK ! One thing I noticed, mixed in with that cluster-fuck of titles, was sheik. How many of those do you keep handy to make that entry worth it? Perhaps in Whales?

I just want to know what they used to order the mess. It's not alphabetic, it's not pairing equivalent male/female titles, it doesn't appear to be sorted by frequency of use either. (I'm pretty sure most princesses have minions to do this sort of thing for them.)
