Good for you. I find coffee addictive once you get started. It also keeps me awake at night. Now, I have got a handle on the situation, and don't drink at all. :-) My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

Green tea is different. It is not the regular tea, and is considered very healthy. What about regular tea/coffee? My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

When I was young, my mother would never allow me or my sister to drink coffee or tea (i guess because of the caffiene). I was so not interested in it that I never drank tea or coffee until I was 15 or so. To my dismay, in my office one guy was picking out the best flavour for his 6 to 12 year old children. So, At what age did u guys start drinking coffee, tea etc? Do you let your kids drink them? Thomas My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers
Haven't yet started. :) Although I may try green tea every now and then... supposed to be good for you. It'd be a much better source of caffiene the rare times I need it than, say, Coke or Mt. Dew. I was eleven when I started drinking it daily. My parents always had a pot brewing in the morning and it smelled so good that I couldn't resist. I guess at 11 I never noticed the difference between the energy of an 11 year old and an 11 year old buzzed on coffee. At this point in my life I am able to drink coffee to put me to sleep, it seems to have no effect. -Scott

Mt. Dew has caffiene? I did not know that. Anyway, I am not a big fan of that, and almost never drink it. My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

I've been drinking tea since i was very young, though mostly herbal tea until 11-12 yrs of age (mint tea is good for an upset stomach). Coffee i started on a bit later; i love the smell of coffee, but don't care much for the taste unless it is fairly fresh (a rare thing it seems).

I started on tea (with plenty of milk and sugar) when I was about 5 years old and coffee when I was about 12. My 5 year old likes unsweetened ice tea, however it's not very strong. Six tea bags in a quart of boiling water, with 3 quarts of cold water added after it's steeped.

The question really was whether it was a matter of your choice or did your parents restrict you or tell you that coffee is not very good for you. I got used to it for a while (an year or so), because of the Kuerig coffee maker at my office. It brews coffee very fast, so you get fresh coffee in many different flavours whenever :-). Now, I have gone back to water as my primary drink; and tea once in a while. Thomas My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

I'm 17 now and have been drinking tea since I can remember. Coffee only recently and cappachinos (sp?) for about 2 years now. I rarely drink coffee tho. Only in cafés etc... in town when i'm there (very cultured)

Tea: ever since I recall. (grandparents would push it, parents'd just provide it.) (caffeinated) Coffee: hated it until addicted to espresso in univ. My son'll have nothing to do with either of them.

I don't drink coffee. Nor have I ever drunk coffee. I can't get past the smell making me vomit. It makes coffee breaks very messy affairs. I used to drink tea as a child. I was probably about seven years old. I stopped when I found hot chocolate and alcohol. Not together though, that would taste crap. Nowadays I just use coke. Did I say use? I mean't drink. I don't let my kids drink tea, coffee or coke though. Then again I don't let them watch telly, go outside or use the telephone. They are all bad for them too. Really I do not have any kids. But I wouldn't let them drink coffee because it makes you taste really bad. And it stains your teeth. I must leave now. I will get this addin working. Someday. ** twitch twitch **

I've been drinking tea ever since I can remember but I didn't start drinking coffee until high school. Even now, I can't drink coffee unless it has cream and sugar in it (unless it's really good coffee). I drink cappucino's like a crazy madman when the opportunity arises though.:) This reminds me of the night my roommate first got his new espresso machine. He drank 12 cups and then called the student health services and said, "I just drank 12 cups of espresso am I going to die?" really fast. He was so wired that night we were able to talk him into dressing up in a gorilla suit and doing really stupid stuff like going into the ladies restroom, running away from RAs for no reason, and posing as a duty team member. We made a video and the best scene is where we're getting off the elevator. He's dressed up in the gorilla suit, sitting in a shopping cart (I'm the "driver"), and holding an umbrella. We got a lot of funny looks that night. Sorry about my ramblings, I'm a little tipsy Brad Jennings Brad Jennings "You're mom is nice. Mind if I go out with her?" - Jörgen Sigvardsson

I dont drink coffee but I have tried tea. Didnt like it very much. It didnt have any real flavor to it. Honestly it tasted like dirty water. Have not had it again since. I drink alot of juice tho. A beer or 3 if its extremely cold. I love those freeze mugs. Cheers
