Long time no see... I'm at a bit of a loss because I was arbitrarily and randomly fired in the past week, finishing on Jan 2, with no payout of leave entitlement. Still not entirely sure why, I was working hard, doing good things. So I figured I'd drop in on old friends.

Name and shame on Jan 3. Were you in tassie or the US? I can imagine local coding jobs would be rather scarce, good luck in the new year. These guys are looking for someone Maatsuyker Island: Volunteers wanted [^], pay may be crap though but you should be used to the conditions.

Howdy, CG.  Am in India on an emergency visit to look after my 97-year old dad who fell ill in October.  Working remotely for now and hope to be able to return to T.O before long.  That sucks about being let go. :( /ravi

WTF? That's not legal, I thought. If you have vacation time accrued, they need to pay you for it. Marc
